Subject: Qwest 2004 Annual Report


Qwest's 2004 10-K report is now available on the Qwest Web site.

The pension trust fund surplus rose (value of assets increased and benefit obligation decreased) during 2004 from $50 million at the start of the year to $204 million at the end of the year. Pension benefit payments decrease 5.8%, from $1.015 billion in 2003 to $956 million in 2004.
