SEC asks court to uphold complaints vs. ex-Qwest execs

The Securities and Exchange Commssion wants a court to uphold
its complaints against former Qwest executives who say claims
against them should be dismissed.
The SEC filed documents in federal court Thursday saying the
objections to its lawsuit are without merit. It alleges
the former executives' actions caused Denver-based Qwest to
improperly report revenue.
Former Qwest finance chief Robert Woodruff, former president
Afshin Mohebbi and former accountants James Koz lowski and Frank
Noyes had argued the government is invoking state-secrets
privileges that will hurt their defense.
